ETTA is a beautiful "musket" (light brownish-gray) ewe. She is a true Heritage Shetland with a soft double coat, the only type of sheep that could survive the brutal weather conditions on the Shetland Isles.
We lost Etta in 2023 so her wool is no longer available.
HERSHEY is a warm "moorit" (reddish gray brown) ewe. She has a very soft intermediate coat that contains some outer fiber but is mostly very dense under coat.
DUCHESS is a deep gray ewe with some black highlights. She also has a soft intermediate coat that provides her all the protection needed for our high mountain location.
GINGER is a stunning "mioget" (warm golden brown ) ewe. She has a soft intermediate coat with amazing crimp. The ultra soft fiber from her neck wool has been used to make the traditional Shetland wedding shawl.
ANGEL is a lovely "fawn" (light golden ) ewe. She has a ultra-soft single coat with amazing crimp. 2022 will be her first year of shearing and fleece.
KATE is a "light gray" ewe. She also has an ultra-soft single coat with amazing crimp. 2022 will be her first year of shearing and fleece.
